Being a new mom is often overwhelming--physically, mentally, and emotionally. Get some practical help and encouragement at a morning workshop Saturday, November 15th at the Dwell Office Auditorium (1340 Community Park Dr., 43229) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
It's open to new moms and moms-to-be and will cover common concerns of new moms and the needs of their babies in the first year. The class is designed to build your confidence, while learning practical tips for this major life transition. It will also cover changes you can anticipate in your relationships beyond you and your baby.
There will be no childcare, but nursing babies are welcome. Light breakfast will be provided. If you have questions please email Sherri Fojas.

Akili seeks to educate and develop students from low-income families into leaders who are able to give back to their communities in meaningful ways. Akili depends on the support of donors to meet its operating budget. Participating in the Silent Auction is one way you can help.
